I am a very practical, logical and future-focused person, yet, this quote made me ponder how to truly make the most of this life. Honestly, I am not as evolved to know that just yet, but I have come realize and cherish the fact that I have this life, in this form, just this one time – so I better make the most of it. Although, this is a professional social media platform, aren’t our professional and entrepreneurial pursuits deeply personal? Also, if we want to truly achieve greatness in either pathway, isn’t the very subjective word ‘passion’ essential? Since, you took the time to visit my profile, the least I could do is to share a little bit of myself, my life and my pursuits… I spent my wonderful childhood in India and , m came into my own through my teenage and adult years in the United States. The values, principles, and idiosyncrasies of these two opposite cultures have shaped me into the unique person I am today. Some consider it a confusing upbringing, however, I feel I have been blessed to have the best of both worlds. I am grounded, spiritually curious, intensely respectful and family-focused because of my Indian heritage, yet I am driven, independent and self-sufficient, due to my upbringing in the United States. Although, my heart will always have a soft spot for my hometown, Bombay (or Mumbai as the world knows it), there is an innate connection to the United States – the country that has been ‘home’ for the last couple of decades. My educational experience spans from secondary schooling in India, to high school and higher education in the United States. In terms of professional experience, I have worked with world-class firms such as TIAA, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Torero Corp., Grant Thornton, LLP and PNC. Although, not every role was always ‘fun’, each role challenged me in new ways, and I grew as a man, in more ways than one. I am excited about what the future holds, and I look forward to sharing more as this journey unfolds.
